Structural testing was accomplished at NIAR (The National Institute for Aviation Research) located at Wichita State University. Although in 3 test units there was never a catastrophic failure, the plastic front plate bent and essentially failed to take any further load consistently over 1000 pounds that was applied only across the middle of the plate.
Documentation for the Belt Loader Extension Ramp "BLER". Click on links below.
The "BLER" has been fit up for the Wollard, Tug, Charlatte and the WASP belt loaders. If you have another brand belt loader I am confident that we can adapt it to your belt loader. Give us a call and we will make it happen.
Full maintenance support is available for the BLER. If there is anything else you require please contact us. Use these installation instructions for for the belt loader you are applying it to and refer to the drawings provided below.
As you may well know, there are many differences in the Tug belt loaders, even in the 660 alone. Cirrus Services has done as much as possible to make the Bridge work as universally as possible. Different installation kits are available for different versions of the Tug belt loader, as well as other brands. When ordering please be careful to know exactly what you are ordering to assure you get the correct installation kit.
The Tug versions are for the 660 models, whether electric or fuel. We have units for four different variations of the Tug 660.
The Tug "T1" version can be recognized by the manual belt controller and when you measure the front of the loader from outside to outside of the conveyor it will measure 34" wide.
The "T2" measures 31 1/2 inches from the outside to outside of the conveyor. It also is equipped with electronic belt controls and typically has a piece of white UHMW polyethylene (plastic) on the right and left outside surfaces of the unit on the front portion of the conveyor.
The "T1B" and "T2B" have the same dimensions as the "T1" and "T2", but have a different front accessory as show in the pictures below. The only difference in the kit would be the changed cap that allows for this alternate accessory.
This page contains installation instructions for the Bridge as well as assembly drawings, an exploded view of the Bridge, a complete Parts List and the inspection report from the destructive testing. This page will soon include training videos for both installation as well as for the use of the unit. Information will be updated on a regular basis so check back to see what has changed in the near future.
